We’ve all heard that laughter is the best medicine, and the goal of a week-long symposium in Toronto is to show how a healthy dose of humour can heal.
Some 1,000 people are expected to attend the workshops and performances to learn how therapeutic clowns bring smiles to sad faces and cheer those who are ill.

POISON singer Bret Michaels has told UsMagazine.com that he has nothin’ to apologize for about “Nothin’ to Lose”, his new song featuring Miley Cyrus. In the country-rock ballad that went online Thursday (hear audio below), Cyrus, 17, harmonizes as Michaels, 46, croons about a bad romance: “We both know better than this/Still we can’t resist/Slowly get undressed.” In the sensual chorus, they sing together: “Won’t you fall down on me/So close I can feel you breathe.”

Basically, the whole song was essentially written and recorded in only three days. On Friday myself, JP and Paul Northfield banged out the mix and VIOLA! Another Dream Theater instrumental is born.”

“Here, half a country away from the Juggalo core, at least two-thirds of the crowd was wearing a Twiztid shirt or one from the group’s label, Psychopathic. Despite the photocopied “No Moshing” signs pasted up around the room, plenty tried. Face paint was abundant. Some went further, doing up their looks with mutant makeup that would have made Roger Corman proud.”
